My love affair with red.

This past Sunday, as you can see from the previous post, I decided to take a stroll down Lincoln Road in South Beach for the Antique Market. Lately, I have been really into red and black; usually I don't combine the two that much, but I think it played out quite lovely together in this casual ensemble I styled. My red Yves Saint Laurent Caba's leather tote -- that I purchased about a month and a half ago -- was a buy that I was a bit nervous and unsure about. Usually, I'm always attracted to the neutral tones or the subtle dark cool colors, and tend to make purchases within those color groups. But, buying this red bag was a step for me to join the warm side. I have always loved Poppy red or Valentino red in dresses, but never incorporated much of the color in my more casual looks (or accessories for that matter). Wearing red would make me feel somewhat uncomfortable for some reason, but the spontaneous purchase of this red bag and its color has inspired me to use it more often in my wardrobe.
